Cushion Refilling Service

Breathe new life into your sofa cushions using Langan's cushion re-filling service.

For competitive reasons many suite manufacturers now use a hollow fibre filling, just like an ordinary pillow, and sometimes after only just a few months service your cushions lose their 'bounce'.

Langans have been making cushion inserts for years to replace these short lived alternatives, so why not extend the life of your suite, rather than buying a replacement that mey only last a short time.

When we make replacement cushion inserts, we use a foam core which gives a greater length of service. You select the degree of firmness you require, and we create a crafted foam core, wrap it in a layer of Dacron to give a well rounded padded cushion finish and enclose the replacement insert in a layer of Stockinette so that it slides more easily into the covers.

A foam pad alone is an incomplete solution as it gives a flat and featureless appearance and, due to its ‘sticky’ surface texture, fitting or removing a cover can present an exhausting challenge!

In order to provide accuracy of fit and choice of foam to suit your preference this service is currently only available to personal visitors to our shop. Bring your existing covers for us to use as a template. We endeavour to provide a 24 hour service dependant on work-load which can be confirmed at the time of your visit.

If you have the maximum width, depth and thickness of your cushions, we may be able to provide a price guide over the telephone or by response to email enquires but we stress that an accurate quote is not possible without our staff inspecting the cushion covers in order to decide how best to achieve the effect you desire.
